The caller informs the person that they owe money to the IRS and if they do not pay over the phone immediately, an arrest warrant will be issued. If no one answers, a message is being left telling the person to contact them immediately.
There are also reports of calls from people claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. The caller claims that in order to receive an increase in monthly payments, verification is required. The information they ask for includes your social security number, where your bank is located, the day you get paid, the bank routing number and the account number.
These calls are fraudulent!!!
