Consumer Online Banking Security
YOUR SECURITY IS IMPORTANT TO US !
With the implementation of the United States Patriot Act, and to ensure your privacy and security as our customer, FCB Banks will not discuss Online Access with anyone other than the individual to whom access was granted. If there are multiple users in your household, please make sure each individual applies for their own access to Online Banking.
Security is a common and logical concern with banking and commerce on the internet. FCB utilizes the latest technology 128 bit encryption which is the highest and most secure in use today. It was developed to safeguard data through coding of information. Multiple layers of advanced security tools including firewalls and trusted operating systems are used to prevent tampering and ensure the privacy of your account information. Before gaining access to any account information each individual is authenticated by a personal access ID, also FCB has implemented an additional level of security by having consumers choose an authentication image and pass phrase, and an alpha-numeric case sensitive password. Consumers will also answer 3 security challenge questions during the initial enrollment process. If the bank doesn’t recognize your computer or you have registered as a public computer, then you will be asked one of the security challenge questions.
Consumers choose their access ID and they also will personally select their own 8 digit alpha-numeric case-sensitive password. This means your password should contain numbers and both upper and lower case letters. Using a combination of numbers and letters provides you online banking access maximum protection. No one else will be able to access your accounts because the password will be known only to you.

- Never reveal your online banking access code, password, authentication image, or pass phrase to anyone else.
- Change your password frequently.
- Always log off by clicking the “log off” button before visiting other internet sites or walking away from your computer.
